Welcome to Career Renewal, a support ministry for those seeking employment. Career Renewal is co-sponsored by Holy Cross Catholic Church and St. Gregory's Episcopal Church, both of Deerfield, Illinois.

We assist individuals who have become unemployed or are re-entering the job market as well as those seeking employment for the first time. Assistance is provided without regard to gender, race, creed, or national origin and is in no way restricted to members of sponsoring parishes.

Career Renewal was established in 1986 by a small group of individuals who were, for the most part, employed in the health care industry. Concerned about widespread "downsizings" taking place at that time, they banded together to support and assist one another. A key distinction between Career Renewal and other organizations is the assignment of an experienced Advisor, who is available to "walk with" the Participant (job seeker) throughout his/her job search.
