Description	When people have experienced the death of a loved one, Bereavement Ministers make the funeral planning process a healing one. Our ministry is to extend the care and concern of the parish community to the grieving family by meeting with the family as soon as possible to familiarize them with the funeral liturgy and choices they will be making and then help them select appropriate hymns and meaningful Scripture readings. We also try to gather information about the deceased person to assist the presider of the wake service and Funeral Mass. We pray with the family, attend the funeral and stay in touch afterwards. We also plan an All Souls' Day Remembrance Mass and invite all in the parish to attend.
