Holy Cross is an active parish with a strong commitment to participation and building community. Below are links to the volunteer opportunities for different parish groups as well as links to "Job Cards" for each of the Ministries. The Job Cards are used to communicate the type of responsibilities and time commitment for particiating in each ministry. Also linked below are volunteer opportunities for both the Dayschool and Parish Religious Education Programs (PREP). Volunteering is a great way to get to know people in the parish while giving something back.

Food Drive For St. Malachy’s

Remember the ongoing food drive for the St. Malachy pantry. Please bring nonperishable food or paper products to the collection box, located in the foyer between Church and School. Thank you for your continued generosity.

Meals-On-Wheels Needs You

Catholic Charities, Lake County Services is in need of volunteer drivers to deliver meals to homebound seniors throughout Lake County. Delivery routes typically require one hour of your time. You may volunteer as infrequently as one time per month or as often as you want. Partner with a friend, or better yet, get your whole place of employment involved. Many companies are willing to add a little flex to the lunch hour for employees involved in community service. All that is needed is a car and a desire to be Christ’s hands and feet in the world.
