Thanksgiving Grace

Let us welcome the feast of Thanksgiving with joy and light.
Light is the symbol of the divine, for the Lord is our Light and Salvation.
May the light of gratitude burn brightly in our hearts and around this table,
not only on this feast of Thanksgiving but throughout the year.

Let each of us give thanks for the many gifts that are ours.
Let us pray for those who are without family,
food, hope or love.
Let us remember those who we love who are not present with us this day.

May the Lord bless us,
and all the gifts of this feast,
In the name of the Father, and of the Son,
and of the Holy Spirit.
